CPs RAS shrimp grow-out facility in China

Thailand’s Charoen Pokphand Foods is building an indoor shrimp grow-out facility using recirculated aquaculture systems (RAS) in Shandong province.

At the Asia-Pacific Seafood Expo, CP was displaying a model of the RAS facility at its stand. Next to this was a model shrimp hatchery system.

Employees present declined to answer questions about the project, beyond confirming the province in which it is being built.
